DoS Voted DC’s Best Blog

We are exited to announce that District of Sound (DoS) is DC’s “Best Local Blog” according to readers of The Washington Post Express! The “Best of 2009″ online contest was conducted last month and results were announced on November 6th. This award also comes at a very special time as DoS celebrates its first birthday this November. What a year it has been… we’ve covered more than 50 local bands, thrown a few shows, and can’t wait to do it all again this year with you!

To celebrate this tremendous honor, our first birthday, and of course to thank our readers we invite you to celebrate with DoS at Solly’s on Thursday, November 12 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. The party has only just begun.
