<p>We are exited to announce that District of Sound (DoS) is DC&#8217;s &#8220;Best Local Blog&#8221; according to readers of The Washington Post Express! The &#8220;Best of 2009&#8243; online contest was conducted last month and results were announced on November 6th. <p>This award also comes at a very special time as DoS celebrates its first birthday this November. What a year it has been&#8230; we&#8217;ve covered more than 50 local bands, thrown a few shows, and can&#8217;t wait to do it all again this year with you!</p>
